A solo exhibition of sculptures by artist Suresh Kumar, titled Form in Silence, is currently on view at the Gallery Foyer of Lalit Kala Akademi, Rabindra Bhavan, from January 4 to 10.
The show brings together a body of sculptural works reflecting Kumar’s sustained engagement with form, space and human expression. Known for his refined craftsmanship and strong conceptual grounding, the artist explores the dialogue between material and meaning, with works that move beyond physical presence to evoke inner states, movement and emotion.
Marked by a contemporary sculptural language, the exhibition balances precision with sensitivity. Through carefully composed forms, Kumar examines the interaction of space, volume and texture, creating works that resonate both visually and philosophically.
The exhibition was inaugurated by J. Nandakumar, National Convenor of Prajna Pravah, who attended as the chief guest.
