The festival encapsulates the flavors of the Subcontinent with films about people from India, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka

Nine out of 14 films will be Indian

A festival of 14 exceptional nonfiction films from South Asia, produced in the last two years will be showcased in the upcoming Travelling Film South Asia Film festival.

The festival encapsulates the flavors of the Subcontinent with films about people from India, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. The festival will be held over a period of four days and will feature nine Indian films out of 14 films.

The festival includes the award winners of Film South Asia Festival 2022, Kathmandu as well as other films selected to showcase the variety, treatment and intensity that marks the world of South Asian documentary and non-fiction. Organized with Film Southasia, Kathmandu. The festival also includes an exhibition by Hri Institute for South Asian Research and Exchange, Southasian Trust, Kathmandu.
