Hamlet, William Shakespeare’s timeless tragedy, will be presented in Hindi by the SRCPA Repertory at the Shri Ram Centre Auditorium, Mandi House, from July 3 to 5. Directed by acclaimed French theatre director Habib Naghmouchine, the production offers a contemporary interpretation of one of the world’s most celebrated plays.
The adaptation explores enduring themes of power, betrayal, revenge, and human conscience through a fresh theatrical lens while remaining rooted in the emotional and philosophical depth of Shakespeare’s original work. Performed by the SRCPA Repertory ensemble, the production aims to deliver a compelling and engaging stage experience for audiences.
With a runtime of 100 minutes, the play brings together classic storytelling and contemporary stagecraft, inviting viewers to revisit Hamlet through a Hindi-language performance that resonates with modern audiences.
