Eros Hotel in Nehru Place is bringing a taste of royal Punjab to the city with its latest food festival, Jashn-e-Dawaat, which begins on May 23 and runs until May 31 at its North Indian restaurant, Singh Sahib.

The festival showcases a curated menu inspired by the cuisine of Sikh royalty, particularly from the time of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. The hotel’s team of chefs has prepared a selection of traditional dishes using rich spices and age-old recipes that highlight the culinary heritage of the region.

Among the featured dishes are Nalwa Raan Ki Cherrey, Mutton Beliram, and Tarbela Dam Ki Macchi. Other offerings include Patiyala Shahi Murgh, Veg Lahori Sheek Kabab, and Jalandhar Da Tamatari Murgh, served in an à la carte format.

“The idea is to revive flavours from an era known for its grandeur and hospitality,” said a chef involved in planning the menu. “Each dish has been carefully chosen to reflect the richness of Punjabi royal kitchens.”
