The music festival, now in its third edition, will be hosted by Delhi-based NGO Wishes and Blessings at Kamani Auditorium

Famous sufi singers Shahid Niazi and Sami Niazi from the renowned qawwali ensemble, the ‘Niazi Brothers’, are set to grace the national capital during ‘Jashn-E-Qawwali’ this Friday.

The third edition of the music festival will be hosted by Delhi-based NGO Wishes and Blessings at Kamani Auditorium from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

“We’re honored to perform once again for a noble cause. This NGO has been making a significant impact over the past decade, and we’re glad to contribute to Wishes and Blessings. Looking forward to delivering our best at ‘Jash-e-Qawwali’ in Delhi on May 10,” said Shahid Niazi.

Hailing from the renowned Rampur Gharana, the Niazi brothers have garnered international acclaim for their versatile musical talents, encompassing qawwali, naat, ghazal, bhajan, geet, folk, and more.

This year, the concert aims to raise funds for the expansion of the NGO’s newly launched initiative, the Community Kitchen – WB Rasoi.

According to the organisers, the concert aims to gather contributions to address the fundamental necessity of food for the underprivileged.

“We’ve recently initiated a community kitchen in Noida to cater to the needs of the underprivileged and aim to extend this initiative. The proceeds from this concert will directly support the WB Rasoi program,” said Geetanjali Chopra, founder, and president of Wishes and Blessings.

Tickets priced at Rs 499 are available for purchase on Paytm Insider.
