Arushi Arts, a prominent name in the art world, is all set to host a solo exhibition featuring the renowned artist Sanjay Bhattacharya.
Titled ‘Of Thoughts & Memories,’ this artistic extravaganza will be showcased at the Indian Habitat Centre- Visual Art Gallery in New Delhi from September 21 to September 27, 2023.
‘Of Thoughts & Memories’ promises to offer art connoisseurs a glimpse into the profound artistic expressions of Sanjay Bhattacharya across various forms.
“In 2006, I embarked on my artistic journey with a series I called ‘Tribute to my Masters’, where I introduced geometric figures onto my canvas,” Bhattacharya recalled, highlighting the beginning of his artistic exploration.
These geometric shapes continued to evolve, eventually taking center stage in his 2012 ‘Krishna’ series. “My unique mastery lies in skillfully manipulating an unconventional color palette and spatial division to craft mesmerizing compositions,” Bhattacharya emphasised, shedding light on the distinct elements that define his work.
While acknowledging the creative challenges posed by these geometric elements, Bhattacharya’s commitment to artistic exploration remains unwavering. ‘Of Thoughts & Memories’, the upcoming exhibition, is more than just an art showcase; it’s a visual journey into the world of Sanjay Bhattacharya.
