A unique smartphone photography exhibition by Sanjay Bhattacharyya and Sanya Ahuja

The Visual Arts Gallery at India Habitat Centre will host an exhibition titled Our World Through Four Eyes: Distortions, Reflections, Shadows, Textures, featuring the work of veteran photographer Sanjay Bhattacharyya and emerging artist Sanya Ahuja. Opening on October 27, the show runs until October 31 and is curated by Uma Nair, with the title by historian and hotelier Aman Nath.

The exhibition presents a unique dialogue between generations and perspectives, showcasing smartphone photographs that range from abstract compositions to candid human portraits. Speaking about Bhattacharyya’s work, Nair said, “Sanjay’s images transform everyday subjects into haunting visual narratives. Crumbling doors, chandeliers, and veiled windows take on a new life, merging a twentieth-century aesthetic with intimate indoor portraits.”
