The culinary force behind the Kylin group is Executive Chef Lenam Lepcha. His culinary career truly began to flourish after completing his Hotel Restaurant Management degree from Siliguri Hotel School.  He worked in a variety of hospitality outlets ranging from hotels to restaurants, absorbing nuances and specialties of ethnic cuisine, particularly Pan Asian.

Chef Lenam’s special touch comes from the Asian philosophy of natural seasonal flavours enhanced by augmented classic techniques of Pan Asian cuisine.  This, coupled with his Asian background, sets the tone for Chef Lenam’s Modern Pan-Asian cuisine accented with ingredients and spices from around the world.

This journey started with his being a passionate foodie. He enjoyed the process of cooking right from childhood at home, helped mother in the daily cooking, which made him start this journey. “Cooking with passion and making food with love is my philosophy. Good food is that which fills my eyes first then the aroma which fills my nose and then my taste buds,” is how he puts it.
