KTM India has reduced the price of the 390 Duke, now available at Rs. 2.95 lakh (ex-showroom). This marks a price drop of Rs. 18,000 from its earlier cost of Rs. 3.13 lakh. The 390 Duke has been a popular model, and the revised pricing is expected to attract even more buyers.

Rivals of the KTM 390 Duke

The 390 Duke competes with the Triumph Speed 400, Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450, BMW G 310 R, Yamaha MT-03, and TVS Apache RTR 310.

Engine and performance

The latest-gen KTM 390 Duke features an upgraded 398 cc engine, up from the previous 373 cc. It now produces 44.25 bhp and 39 Nm of torque while retaining its 6-speed gearbox. The bi-directional quick shifter ensures smooth gear shifts.

Chassis and Hardware

KTM has overhauled the bike’s frame, introducing a steel trellis mainframe and a pressure die-cast aluminium sub-frame. A new curved swing arm enhances stability. The suspension setup includes upside-down forks at the front and a mono-shock at the rear. Braking is handled by lighter rotors, with a 320 mm front disc and 240 mm rear disc, borrowed from the RC 390. The alloy wheels have been optimised for weight reduction.

Features and technology

The 2024 KTM 390 Duke comes with a 5-inch TFT display featuring Bluetooth connectivity for music control, calls, and navigation. It also includes launch control, multiple riding modes, a new Track Mode, SuperMoto ABS, a quick shifter, self-cancelling indicators, cruise control, and a speed limiter.
