POCO has launched its latest budget smartphone, the POCO C71, in India. Priced from Rs 6,499, the device is powered by the Unisoc T7250 System-on-Chip (SoC) and features a sizeable 5,200mAh battery. It comes with a 6.88-inch HD+ display that supports a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and reaches up to 600 nits of peak brightness. The display is also certified for low blue light and is flicker-free, ensuring a more comfortable viewing experience.
The POCO C71 is available in three colours — Desert Gold, Cool Blue, and Power Black — and will go on sale from 8 April exclusively on Flipkart. The handset comes in two memory and storage variants: a 4GB RAM and 64GB storage model priced at Rs 6,499, and a 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model at Rs 7,499. Storage is further expandable up to 2TB via microSD.
In terms of photography, the smartphone sports a 32MP primary rear camera, while the front features an 8MP sensor for selfies and video calls. On the software front, the POCO C71 runs Android 15-based HyperOS 2 out of the box. POCO has also committed to providing two generations of operating system updates, offering users greater longevity.

The device is backed by a 5,200mAh battery with support for 15W wired charging. Other notable features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone/microphone combo jack, and an IP52 rating for dust and water resistance, making it a solid contender in the entry-level segment.
