The Poco F7 is rumoured to feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset and is expected to be priced somewhere between Rs 30,000 to Rs 35,000

Poco, Xiaomi’s sub-brand, has confirmed that the Poco F7 will be launched in India later this month. The announcement was indirectly revealed through a new microsite created by Flipkart, although the exact launch date has not yet been disclosed. The page URL, however, hints at a June launch.

While Poco has not shared official specifications, multiple leaks suggest that the Poco F7 may be a rebranded version of the China-exclusive Redmi Turbo 4 Pro. If that holds true, the device will likely be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset—offering high-end performance in a mid-range bracket—and feature a 6.83-inch flat LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, and peak brightness of 1,800 nits.

The smartphone is also expected to run on HyperOS 2 based on Android 15 and sport an optical in-display fingerprint sensor.

On the camera front, rumours point to a vertically stacked, elliptical camera module housing a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor along with an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The Poco F7 is not expected to include a telephoto lens, aligning with its performance-focused positioning.

Other tipped specifications include up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, 512GB UFS 4.0 storage, and a large 7,550mAh silicon carbon battery supporting 90W fast charging. Wireless charging is unlikely to be offered.

In China, the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro is available in Black, White, and Green colour options, though it’s unclear whether the same variants will be released in India. Pricing is expected to fall between Rs 30,000 and Rs 35,000, similar to its predecessor.

More details are expected to emerge closer to the official launch.
