Realme C71 5G debuts with a 6,300mAh battery, UNISOC T7250 chip, and military-grade durability starting at Rs 7,699

Chinese smartphone brand Realme has introduced its new C71 5G in the Indian market, targeting budget-conscious buyers seeking 5G connectivity and long battery life. Priced at Rs 7,699 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, and Rs 8,699 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage option, the C71 5G is now available for purchase through Realme’s official website, Flipkart, and select offline retail outlets. As part of a launch offer, customers opting for the higher variant can avail a Rs 700 discount through select bank offers.

The Realme C71 5G is powered by the UNISOC T7250 chipset and runs on Realme UI based on Android 15. One of its key highlights is the massive 6,300mAh battery, which the company claims can deliver up to two days of usage on a single charge. The device supports 15W wired charging and also offers 6W reverse charging, allowing it to power other gadgets. According to Realme, the battery can provide up to 46.5 hours of voice calls, 19 hours of Instagram browsing, and over 20 hours of YouTube streaming.

Sporting a 6.74-inch LCD display, the phone offers a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 568 nits. Despite the large battery, the device maintains a slim profile at 7.94mm and weighs 201 grams. The rear panel features a Pulse Light design, offering nine colour variations and five glow effects that react to calls, messages, and charging status, adding a visual flourish to the otherwise practical design.

For photography, the Realme C71 5G includes a 13MP rear camera powered by an Omnivision OV13B sensor, while the front houses a 5MP selfie shooter. The camera system is equipped with features such as AI Eraser, AI Clear Face, Pro Mode, and dual-view video recording, enhancing both creativity and usability for casual users.

Built under the company’s Armorshell Tough Build design, the smartphone promises enhanced durability. It has been tested to withstand drops from up to two metres and comes with an IP54 rating for resistance to dust and water, a rare feature in this price segment.

Available in Sea Blue and Obsidian Black colour options, the Realme C71 5G continues the brand’s push into the entry-level 5G segment, combining robust performance, a standout battery, and essential durability features in an affordable package.
