Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy M36 5G in India, the latest mid-range smartphone in its M series, bringing advanced AI tools and premium features at an accessible price point. Notably, it is among the first in its category to support Google’s Circle to Search and the new Gemini Live feature for real-time visual conversations with AI—both a result of Samsung’s growing collaboration with Google.
The Galaxy M36 5G sports a sleek 7.7mm slim profile and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ for enhanced durability. It features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, supported by Vision Booster for better visibility under direct sunlight. The phone will be available in three colour options: Velvet Black, Serene Green, and Orange Haze.
On the camera front, the device boasts a 50MP triple rear camera setup with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and Auto Night Mode for low-light photography. Both front and rear cameras support 4K video recording. It also includes AI-powered tools like Photo Remaster and Object Eraser, along with a 13MP front camera.
Under the hood, the M36 5G is powered by Samsung’s 5nm Exynos 1380 chipset, equipped with a vapour cooling chamber for smoother performance during gaming and multitasking. The phone comes with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging.

Running on Samsung’s One UI 7 based on Android, the device promises six generations of Android updates and six years of security patches. It also offers enhanced safety features such as Samsung Knox Vault and supports Tap & Pay through Samsung Wallet.
The Galaxy M36 5G will be offered in three variants:

8GB RAM + 128GB storage: Rs 17,999
8GB RAM + 256GB storage: Rs 20,999

The device will go on sale starting July 12, 2025 on Samsung.com, Amazon, and select retail outlets across India.
