Tecno on Thursday launched the Pova Slim, positioning it as the world’s slimmest 5G smartphone with a curved display. The device, measuring 5.95 mm in thickness, is slightly bulkier than Samsung’s 5.8 mm Galaxy S25 Edge but slimmer than most mid-range offerings in the market.
The Pova Slim is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6400 chipset and sports a 6.78-inch 3D curved AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution and a 144 Hz refresh rate. The company highlighted that while not the thinnest 5G handset overall, it is currently the slimmest with a curved panel.
On the rear, the phone carries a distinctive snake-like camera module housing a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP lens. It also features an integrated LED strip, branded as “Dynamic Mood Light”, designed to glow for notifications and calls.
Running HiOS based on Android 15, the Pova Slim offers 8GB RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It comes with an IP64 rating for dust resistance and splash protection. Despite its slim profile, Tecno has included a 5,160mAh battery supporting 45W fast charging.

Available in Sky Blue, Slim White and Cool Black, the Pova Slim is priced at Rs 19,999 and will go on sale across retail outlets from September 8.
