Vivo has introduced its latest V50e smartphone, designed for the mid-to-premium market. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, built on a 4nm architecture, and offers a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2392 × 1080 pixels, delivering a peak brightness of 1,800 nits. It also supports 90W fast charging and is backed by a 5,600mAh battery.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), complemented by an 8MP wide-angle camera. The front camera is also a 50MP unit, capable of recording in 4K. The camera system features AI-driven enhancements and an ‘Aura Light’ for better portrait shots. Additionally, the device boasts several photography modes, including a dedicated Wedding Portrait Studio mode and eye-AF group selfie functionality.
The V50e runs on Vivo’s FunTouch OS 15 and is available in two storage variants: 8GB RAM with 128GB storage priced at Rs 28,999, and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage at Rs 30,999. Students shopping on Vivo India’s website can get a Rs 1,000 discount. The smartphone comes in two colours, Sapphire Blue and Pearl White.

The V50e is equipped with AI-driven tools such as AI Image Expander, AI Transcript Assist, AI Note Assist, Live Call Translation, and AI SuperLink to enhance productivity. It will be available for purchase from April 17, 2025, via Vivo’s official website, major e-commerce platforms like Flipkart and Amazon, as well as authorised retail outlets. Pre-booking started on April 10.
The device’s slim design, just 0.739 cm in thickness, combines with its curved AMOLED display to offer a premium, edge-to-edge viewing experience. The MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset ensures smooth multitasking, allowing users to keep more than 25 apps open at once without delays.
