The Delhi Collage of Art resumes its yearly art festival where the works of its hundreds of students are put forth in an exhibition. The event, ‘18th Collage Annual Art Carnival’, will showcase over 300 artworks by 105 students.
The carnival this year is special as it returns from a two-year hiatus. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the art festival was shelved to prevent public gatherings. There will be no entry fee.
At the event, visitors will be able to purchase magnificent artworks that are made of oil paintings, watercolors, charcoal, acrylic, different type of surfaces and installations at affordable prices.
For over one and a half decades, Delhi Collage of Art (DCA) has been providing training and guidance to students, professional and art enthusiasts. DCA has been slowly and constantly gathering more and more name, fame and recognition. The unique way of teaching not just art, but creativity has made DCA a forerunner in the art arena.
Its director, Ashwani K Prithviwasi, is synonymous with art and creativity. In the last 29+ years, he has trained over 6500 students across 40 countries.
Prithviwasi has more than two and a half decades of dedicated creative charisma. His presence and contribution to the fraternity has been strongly realized not locally in the Delhi-NCR belt, but also nationally and internationally.
DCA is his noble Initiative and has produced many artists since the year of its inception.
