Chinese smartphone brand POCO has launched the M7 Plus 5G in India, expanding its M7 series with a device priced from Rs 13,999. The smartphone features a 7,000mAh battery, a 6.9-inch full-HD+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate, and comes with IP64 certification for dust and water resistance. It will be available in Chrome Silver, Aqua Blue and Carbon Black colours, with sales beginning on August 19 via Flipkart. Customers can avail themselves of a Rs 1,000 instant discount on HDFC, SBI or ICICI Bank cards, or opt for an exchange bonus of the same amount.
The M7 Plus 5G’s display offers a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels, peak brightness of 850 nits in high brightness mode, and TÜV certification for low blue light and flicker-free viewing. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor and comes with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. The device supports 33W wired charging and 18W reverse wired charging.

On the camera front, the smartphone sports a dual rear setup with a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor, alongside an 8MP front-facing camera. It runs on Android 15-based Xiaomi HyperOS and the company has promised two generations of OS upgrades along with four years of security updates. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, mono speaker, Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 5 connectivity.
