Lava International Limited has expanded its Blaze series with the launch of the Blaze AMOLED 2, aimed at India’s sub-Rs 15,000 smartphone segment.
Touted as the slimmest handset in its class at just 7.55mm, the Blaze AMOLED 2 features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering deep blacks, sharp contrast and fluid motion for gaming, streaming and social media use.
The device runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 7060 chipset, paired with 6GB LPDDR5 RAM — expandable virtually by another 6GB — and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage. Lava claims the processor achieves an AnTuTu benchmark score of over 500,000, enabling smooth multitasking and high-performance gaming.
Photography is handled by a 50MP Sony IMX752 rear sensor for detailed images and an 8MP front camera for selfies. A 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging powers the handset.
Sumit Singh, Head of Product at Lava, said the Blaze series was designed to combine “style, efficiency, and innovation” in the budget category. “With the Blaze AMOLED 2, we are introducing an ultra-slim flat AMOLED display with 7.55 mm thickness — best-in-class presently in the industry,” he noted, adding that the model is geared towards consumers seeking both design and performance ahead of the festive season.

Priced at Rs 13,499, the smartphone will go on sale from August 16 via Lava’s retail network and Amazon, in two colour variants — Feather White and Midnight Black.
