A sculptural exhibition titled ‘In Motion and Stillness’ is currently on view across three Max Estates locations in Delhi-NCR — Max Square in Noida, Max Towers in Sector 16B, and Max House in Okhla. Presented by Anamkara Art in association with Gaenaa Leonaa, the show opened on August 1 and will run until September 1.
Featuring works by New Delhi–based artist Vernika Singh, the exhibition brings together a series of sculptures that explore movement and stillness through the human form. Singh, a self-taught sculptor working since 2015, creates in bronze, brass, aluminium, stainless steel, and fibreglass. Her works are part of prominent collections, including those of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, Hush Blackwell, and Ernst & Young.
“The idea of ‘dynamism’ always attracted me,” Singh said. “I try to capture movement in my work. Most of my pieces are inspired by sportspersons or dancers — from high-energy gymnasts to graceful ballet performers.”
The exhibition moves between two modes — the contemplative stillness of yoga-inspired figures and the outward energy of athletic forms. Singh’s use of contrasting textures, from raw and textured human figures to smooth, glossy balloon forms, creates a dialogue between restraint and release.

Hosted as part of Max Estates’ art integration initiative, the show invites visitors to pause and reflect on the unseen rhythms of strength, balance, and surrender.
