The city on Sunday recorded a minimum temperature of 25.7 degrees Celsius, which was 1.8 notches above the season’s average.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the sky is likely to remain partly cloudy, with the maximum temperature expected to settle around 37 degrees Celsius. Relative humidity was measured at 80 per cent at 8.30 AM.
The air quality in Delhi was recorded in the “moderate” category at 9 AM on Sunday, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) touching 160, as per data shared by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). The CPCB classifies an AQI between zero and 50 as ‘good’, 51 to 100 as ‘satisfactory’, 101 to 200 as ‘moderate’, 201 to 300 as ‘poor’, 301 to 400 as ‘very poor’, and 401 to 500 as ‘severe’.
On Saturday, the capital had recorded a maximum temperature of 37.2 degrees Celsius, also 1.8 notches above the season’s average, the IMD said. The minimum temperature that day was 25.7 degrees Celsius, again 1.8 notches above the seasonal norm, with partly cloudy skies.

The relative humidity on Saturday was 54 per cent at 5.30 PM. Delhi’s air quality had remained in the “moderate” category at 6 PM, when the AQI was recorded at 153, CPCB data showed.
