Delhi witnessed a warm morning on Tuesday, with the minimum temperature settling at 28.4 degrees Celsius.
Palam recorded a minimum temperature of 26.8 degrees Celsius, 0.4 notches below normal, Lodhi Road 28.2 degrees Celsius, 2.2 notches above normal, Ridge 24.2 degrees Celsius, 2.3 notches below normal, and Ayanagar 28.8 degrees Celsius, 1.8 notches above normal.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast a partly cloudy sky with the maximum temperature likely to settle around 38 degrees Celsius.
The Ridge recorded 0.2 mm of rainfall till 8.30 am, while no rainfall was recorded at the other stations.
The weather office has predicted a maximum temperature of 37 degrees Celsius.
Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) was 152 on Tuesday, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
An AQI between 0 and 50 is considered ‘good’, 51 and 100 ‘satisfactory’, 101 and 200 ‘moderate’, 201 and 300 ‘poor’, 301 and 400 ‘very poor’, and 401 and 500 ‘severe’.
