Delhi woke up to overcast skies on Wednesday, with the minimum temperature settling at 27.4 degrees Celsius.
The humidity was recorded at 78 per cent in the morning.
Station-wise data showed that Safdarjung recorded a minimum temperature of 27.4 degrees Celsius, 0.9 degrees above normal. Palam recorded 25.5 degrees Celsius, 0.8 degree below normal, while Lodhi Road recorded 27 degrees Celsius, 1 degree above normal.
The Ridge recorded a minimum temperature of 22.8 degrees Celsius, 2.3 degrees below normal, while Ayanagar recorded 26.7 degrees Celsius, 1.1 degrees above normal.
Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) stood at 104 at 9 am, placing it in the “moderate” category, according to the Central Pollution Control Board.
According to the CPCB’s AQI scale, a reading between 0 and 50 is considered “good”, 51-100 “satisfactory”, 101-200 “moderate”, 201-300 “poor”, 301-400 “very poor” and 401-500 “severe.”
