An evening celebrating India’s royal heritage through music, heirloom crafts and traditions

Royal Fables Season 16 – The Heirloom Series will bring together members of erstwhile royal families, master artisans, heritage brands, collectors and cultural custodians for an evening celebrating India’s living traditions at Hyatt Regency, New Delhi, on August 19.

The season explores the heirloom as a living archive of memory, craftsmanship and cultural identity, featuring more than 80 participants representing traditions sustained across generations through royal patronage.

A key highlight will be the Palace Karkhana, featuring royal ateliers and heritage practitioners including Rani Jaykirti Singh of Baria, Rani Dipti Singh of Kacchi Baroda, the royal families of Dhenkanal and Mayurbhanj, Amrita Rana, Dhruv Singh, Sri Tana Bana, Veena of Padrauna, Alka Rani Singh, Bera and Artistry Finery.

The showcase will feature collectible art, heirloom textiles, jewellery, furniture and culinary heritage, with participants including Raisal Art, Sona Chandi Studio, Aumra – The Mithai Atelier, Nanagram Fine Jewels and Atul Jewellers. The evening will also feature a special recital by Padma Shri Dr Soma Ghosh and floral artistry by The Flower Club.

Curated by Anshu Khanna, founder and director of Royal Fables, along with Charu Singh, the season aims to showcase India’s royal legacy through crafts, stories and traditions that continue to evolve and endure.
