Humidity levels were recorded at 97 percent at 8:30 am, according to the Meteorological Office. The Air Quality Index (AQI) at 10 am was categorized as ‘poor,’ with a reading of 253, as reported by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
The AQI classification ranges from ‘good’ (0-50) to ‘severe’ (401-500). The current ‘poor’ rating indicates air quality levels that may pose health concerns, emphasizing the ongoing challenges faced by the city in maintaining satisfactory air conditions.
