Aadhura Kuch Bhi Nahin, a solo art exhibition by renowned artist Meenakshi Jha Banerjee, is set to open at the Shridharani Gallery, Triveni Kala Sangam, New Delhi. The exhibition, sponsored by Gallerie Ganesha, will run from October 15 to October 21. The opening ceremony will take place on October 15 at 6:00 PM.
The exhibition will showcase Banerjee’s distinctive exploration of contemporary art, infused with the traditional motifs of Mithila’s folk paintings. With more than two decades of experience, Banerjee is known for her ability to seamlessly blend ancient art forms with modern styles.
Speaking about her artistic journey, Banerjee said, “My work aims to reinterpret the simplistic elements of Mithila’s folk art by incorporating them into contemporary visual language. This fusion allows me to express emotions and traditions in a modern context”.
Banerjee’s style is characterised by intricate detailing and multiple layers, which reflect both her deep connection to Mithila’s artistic heritage and her proficiency in contemporary techniques. Her ability to blend traditional Bangal and Mithila elements with modern mediums creates a unique artistic expression.

Her works have been featured in the collections of various prestigious government and corporate organisations and have attracted collectors from around the world, including Europe, the USA, Canada, and Africa. Banerjee’s art is also available on several online platforms, making her work accessible to a global audience.
