Curated by Tunty Chauhan and Deeksha Nath, a group exhibition marks the 25th year of Gallery Threshold and honors the enduring link with the artists.
The exhibit brings the creations of thirty-five multi-generational artists who share a reciprocal bond with Gallery Threshold. The self-portraiture theme ties diverse artist practices. With paintings, sculptures, installations, photography, and mixed media, the works surpass physical representations, delving into life story narratives.
Unrivaled in scale and depth, the exhibit achieves two goals: exploring self-representation and celebrating strong gallery-artist bonds, recognizing artistic excellence and lasting impact in the art community. Curators embrace broad self-representation, including figurative, abstract, alliterative, and metaphorical styles.
