Artist Beenu Gupta will showcase her latest solo exhibition titled Divinity – A Symphony of Nature at Bikaner House, Main Gallery, Pandara Road, New Delhi. The exhibition will open with a preview on 5 June 2025 at 6 PM, and will be open to the public from 6 to 9 June, between 11 AM and 7 PM.

The show will be inaugurated by Dr Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios, Noida, along with Prof. Paramjeet Singh, former Chairman of the All India Fine Arts and Crafts Society (AIFACS), New Delhi.

Gupta said the exhibition highlights the deep and sacred connection between humans and nature, using trees as a central symbol. Each painting in the series has been created using non-traditional techniques — with every leaf painted and assembled by hand. The tree trunks are shown with textured details that reflect the natural twists and imperfections of living trees.

She said she is inspired by the sounds of nature — like the flow of rivers, rustling leaves and the wind — which she sees as an ancient, universal form of communication. Gupta added that her artworks explore the balance between nature’s symmetry and wildness, and use geometry to reflect the sacred patterns found in natural forms.

Beenu Gupta was born in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, and spent her childhood travelling across the country due to her father’s job in the Customs and Central Excise department. These travels gave her exposure to India’s diverse landscapes, cultures and myths, which continue to influence her work.
