Bikaner House is set to host Atmanaveshana, a multidisciplinary art and sculpture exhibition featuring the works of renowned painter Dr Amrit Kapoor and sculptor Suresh Kumar. The exhibition will open on June 19 at 6:00 PM in the Main Art Gallery, Bikaner House, Pandara Road.
The inaugural ceremony will be attended by Parvesh Sahib Singh, Cabinet Minister in the Delhi Government and MLA, New Delhi, as the Chief Guest. Prof. Harsh Vardhan Sharma, Advisor (Art & Culture) to the NDMC, will grace the occasion as Guest of Honour.
A key highlight of the event will be the premiere of Life Line, a documentary film by Vajranabh Natraaj Maharshi, offering an intimate look into Suresh Kumar’s artistic journey, spiritual philosophy, and contribution to contemporary Indian sculpture.
Dr Amrit Kapoor, who holds a doctorate in Fine Arts from Kanpur University, is known for her emotionally charged abstract and semi-abstract paintings. Her major thematic series include
Symphony (depicting music through colours and texture), Dichotomy (exploring the heart-mind conflict), Harmony, and Utopian World, a philosophical reflection on happiness and morality.

Suresh Kumar’s bronze sculptures draw from both classical and contemporary Indian aesthetics. His work reflects a deep spiritual engagement with form and tradition.
The exhibition, which runs from June 19 to June 23, will be open daily from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. It offers a unique blend of painting and sculpture, celebrating creativity, cultural heritage, and the evolving landscape of Indian art.
The exhibition is open to the public and invites art lovers, students, collectors, and cultural communities to experience this rare artistic convergence.
