The Lexicon Art is excited to announce “Happy Vibrations,” a solo exhibition featuring the works of Ghanshyam Gupta. The title of the show reflects Gupta’s belief that different emotions emit unique vibrations, with positive feelings resonating at higher frequencies.
Gupta’s paintings aim to evoke joy in viewers, drawing on his theory of colour therapy to influence consciousness. Despite his background in representational art, Gupta has chosen non-figurative forms for this exhibition, using techniques to capture the essence of nature, particularly the rising sun and lush landscapes.
The exhibition preview will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024, starting from 5:30 pm at The Lexicon Art, located at M-12, Connaught Place, New Delhi. The show will be open to the public from May 4 to June 3, 2024, Monday to Saturday, from 11 am to 7 pm.
Ghanshyam Gupta, the acclaimed Indian artist behind “Happy Vibrations” believes that “every emotion we feel has its own vibration”. Through his art, he aims to capture these vibrations, particularly the uplifting ones like joy and gratitude.
In discussing his choice of non-figurative forms for the exhibition, Gupta explains, “I wanted to convey the essence of nature’s beauty, especially the energy of the rising sun and the lushness of the natural world, symbolising my vision of positivity”.
