The 2025 edition of Kalabimb brings together 25 artists from across the country in a group exhibition that reflects the shifting landscapes of contemporary Indian art. Titled “Kalabimb-25”: Interconnected Realities, the show is curated by FAME (Finetouch Art Motivators & Educators) and features a diverse range of mediums including painting, photography, digital art, and mixed media.
The art exhibition explores the theme of interconnection—between past and present, tradition and technology, personal memory and political reality. From urban transformation and ecological fragility to gender narratives and digital identity, the artworks delve into the layered complexities of contemporary life.
Each participating artist offers a unique lens, yet their works collectively form a broader commentary on the times we live in. The pieces reflect an evolving art practice where folklore meets futurism, and individual expression is often charged with social and cultural critique.
“In an increasingly fragmented world, this exhibition becomes a space for convergence,” said a curator from FAME. “The theme, Interconnected Realities, speaks to the way artists are navigating and stitching together multiple worlds—real and virtual, remembered and imagined.”
