A special evening of classical dance and poetry will be held in Delhi on July 31, as Nayikas of Tulsidas – Echoes of Dignity and Grace takes the stage at LTG Auditorium, Mandi House from 6:00 PM onwards. The event is presented by Sindhu Mishra’s Aayam, with support from the Government of NCT of Delhi.
The performance features Arshia Mathur and Krithika Kumar, two talented Bharatanatyam dancers, who will bring to life the stories of Sita and Parvati, two powerful female figures from the Ramcharitmanas, written by poet-saint Goswami Tulsidas.
The show begins with a dance in praise of Lord Shiva, followed by two expressive pieces. Arshia Mathur will present a scene from the Baal Kand, where Sita sees Ram for the first time and prays to Goddess Bhavani. Krithika Kumar will perform the story of Parvati, who goes through deep meditation and tests to win Lord Shiva’s love. Both dances are set to music composed and sung by Nitin Sharma.
The evening ends with a lively Thillana, a traditional Bharatanatyam piece celebrating Shiva and Parvati, with music by Poochi Sreenivaasa Aiyyangaar, G Elangovan, and Nitin Sharma.

Kapil Mishra, Delhi’s Minister for Art, Culture and Languages, will attend the event as Chief Guest.
Nayikas of Tulsidas promises to offer a mix of storytelling, music, and classical dance, bringing together tradition and emotion on one stage.
