The All India Fine Arts & Crafts Society (AIFACS) is currently hosting What’s Under My Skin?, a debut solo exhibition by emerging artist Khushi Khandelwal, on view until July 24 at Gallery A in its New Delhi premises.
Bringing together a series of emotionally charged works, the exhibition offers a layered exploration of anxiety, fragility and inner vulnerability. Through mixed-media compositions that balance realism with abstraction, Khandelwal constructs visual narratives that invite viewers to look beneath the surface—both literally and metaphorically.
The exhibition opened on July 18 with a well-attended launch event and has since seen steady footfall from students, collectors, artists and members of the public. A number of original works and curated prints are available for acquisition.
“This body of work represents a deeply personal process of reflection and confrontation,” said the artist at the opening. “To see people engage with it so sincerely is both moving and affirming.”

Currently pursuing a BA (Hons) in Fine Arts at LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore, Khandelwal has previously participated in group shows such as Everything in Between (2024) and Crumbs (2025). In 2023, she was awarded the Suresh Khanna Trophy for Excellence in Art at Welham Girls’ School.
What’s Under My Skin? marks Khandelwal’s formal entry into the Indian contemporary art space, offering a thoughtful and introspective start to her professional journey.
