Pracheen Kala Kendra, a cultural institution promoting Indian arts, is all set to celebrate its 21th quarterly baithak.
Scheduled for Friday, September 1, 2023, the event will commence at 6:30 pm and unfold at the Triveni Kala Sangam located at 205 Tansen Marg, Mandi House, New Delhi.
According to organisers, admission to the programme will be granted on a first-come-first-served basis, creating an atmosphere of inclusivity and artistic appreciation.
The evening’s highlights include a captivating vocal recital by the talented Shiv Prasad Rao, accompanied by the rhythmic prowess of Jitendra Swain on the Tabla and the melodic touch of Lalit Sisodia on the Harmonium.
They said that adding to the tapestry of performances will be the Kathak duet by Praveen Parihar and Arpita Bhardwaj. Their performance will be enriched by the musical talents of Sami Ulla Khan on vocals, the rhythmic finesse of Sanjeet Gangani on Padhant, the dynamic Tabla beats of Shariq Mustafa, the resonating Pakhawaj by Ashish Gangani, and the soulful strains of Ayub Khan’s Sarangi.
Sajal Koser, Secretary of Pracheen Kala Kendra, expressed his enthusiasm for the event, stating, “For several years, we have been organizing these quarterly Baithak sessions to provide a platform for young and gifted artists.
