“Hum hain mushtaaq aur woh bezaar, ya ilahi ye majra kya hai?”
Hum bhi munh mein zuban rakhte hain, kaash poochho ki mudda kya hai?”
Theatreleela Acting Studio is organising a comedy play titled “Khalid ki Khala”. The hilarious play, with the right punchlines, revolves around two young men who are trying to confess their love to their beloved ones by inviting them to lunch with “Khalid ki Khala”.
The titular character just happens to be a millionaire.
The plot involves two middle-aged men who would go to any extent to procure their love for ‘Khala’ and revolves around their humorous attempts to extensively plan the meal, which includes persuading a friend to take on the role of “Khalid ki Khala”.
The comedy twist comes in when their other friend gets involved and becomes the only hope for their quest for love.
The cast, crew, and organisers are excited for the audience to witness this journey, which is full of laughter, joy, love, and excitement. The play is directed by the talented Varun Sharma, who is also the founder of Theatreleela.
The story is beautifully woven by Begum Qudsia Zaidi and the characters are done justice to with actors like Simran and Namrata, who have been performing theatre for quite some time now.
Through all its plays, Theatreleela is focused on creating an audience for theatre who understands, appreciates and acknowledges the craft of theatre and is able to spread the same amongst society.
