A solo exhibition titled “Transformation Manifested” by artist U Vijay Kumar has started from September 4 till September 30. The exhibition will be open every day from 11 am to 7 pm, including Mondays and Saturdays. The event is curated by Kiran K Mohan and is being hosted at F-20 D, Old M B Road, Lado Sarai, New Delhi.
During the inauguration of the event, curator Kiran K Mohan conveyed the profound nature of art, stating, “Art is not simply what one sees but what an artist compels others to perceive.”
He underscored that an artist’s expression is a uniquely personal force that translates into action, reflecting the myriad emotions and experiences of life.
Kiran praised Vijay Kumar’s disciplined approach to color selection and medium usage, which enhances his creative prowess. He remarked, “The discipline he exhibits in choosing colors and utilizing the medium accelerates his creative magnitude. His inspiration from his own life is not influenced by trends but rather revolves around metaphors and concepts, resulting in robust expressions that become his signature.”
Artist U Vijay Kumar told Patriot, “Each artwork encapsulates a special feeling I’ve endured throughout my life. The palette of colors defines the intricate complexities of day-to-day life. The challenges and struggles are captured in each artwork, conveying the sensibilities of the audience.”
“Faced with challenging situations and dominant instincts, the human mind, in its evolutionary process, grapples with an ever-raging conflict,” Kumar said.
“The ultimate goal is to explore the unexplored, achieving a sense of ‘Freeness’ to merge with the Panchabhootams,” he added.
