Artists have gathered from Karnataka to Kerala and Kolkata, Maharashtra to Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh to present their work at the third curation of the Utsav Group, with the purpose to bring people together with a confluence of colours.
With this exhibition, the Utsav Group aims to showcase the richness and diversity of various forms of art, such as sculptures, photography and paintings.
“Utsav-3″ promises to make every event a unique and exciting affair. “We strive to ensure that each event is a special occasion, with a great variety of art forms on display. From paintings to sculptures to photography, our exhibition is a celebration of creativity and joy. We are proud to be able to provide a platform for artists to showcase their work, and for visitors to enjoy the unique beauty of each art form,” said the oraganisers.
“The old times were filled with charm and emotion when we used to send messages via post. We would eagerly wait for the postman to come and deliver our postcards or chiththi, always filled with anticipation and joy. Nowadays, in this era of the Internet, we miss that charm and emotion that came with the postcard. This event is a great attempt to recreate that old time feeling,” they added.
“Hand-painted postcards give a personal touch to the message being sent (however we will get all the postcards framed). It allows us to send a heartfelt message to our loved ones by adding a personal touch to it. It is a way to make sure that the messages still reach their destination in a unique and beautiful way. These hand painted postcards are truly a great way to make sure that these old-time memories never fade away,” they said.
