OnePlus has officially announced that its next-generation tablet, the OnePlus Pad 3, will be launched globally on June 5. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the company confirmed that the device will run on Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, promising top-tier performance.
One of the standout features teased by OnePlus is the tablet’s ability to sync seamlessly with iOS devices, a significant upgrade for users in mixed-device ecosystems. This marks a notable shift for OnePlus’s Android-powered tablets, which previously lacked compatibility with Apple’s ecosystem.
The Pad 3 will also come equipped with an enhanced version of Open Canvas, OnePlus’s multitasking interface that enables users to run multiple apps at once with improved flexibility.

However, this device may not be entirely new. Reports suggest that the global version of the OnePlus Pad 3 is likely a rebranded OnePlus Pad 2 Pro, which launched in China last year. If true, the Pad 3 will likely feature a 13.2-inch LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 900 nits peak brightness.
Running OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15, the tablet is expected to feature a quad-speaker setup and support for an optional keyboard with a built-in trackpad, making it a productivity-friendly device.
Rumoured specifications include up to 16GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, a 13MP rear camera, an 8MP front camera, and a 12,140mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
While pricing details are yet to be revealed, the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro debuted in China at CNY 3,199 (approximately Rs 38,000), which aligns with the pricing of last year’s OnePlus Pad 2 in India (Rs 39,999). OnePlus has not yet confirmed whether the Pad 3 will be released in the Indian market.
