Oppo has expanded its product portfolio in India with the launch of the Oppo Pad 5. The new Android tablet is powered by a MediaTek chipset, features a large 12.1-inch display and packs a 10,050mAh battery. It runs Android 16 and comes with support for both Wi-Fi and 5G connectivity. Oppo has also introduced an AI-powered note-taking feature aimed at improving productivity and organisation.
Price and availability
Oppo Pad 5 is available in Aurora Pink and Starlight Black colour options. It comes in two variants — 8GB RAM with 128GB storage priced at Rs 26,999, and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage priced at Rs 32,999.
The tablet will go on sale from January 13 via the Oppo India e-store, Flipkart and authorised offline retail outlets. As part of the launch offers, Oppo is providing an instant bank discount of Rs 2,000 along with no-cost EMI options for up to nine months.
Specifications
The Oppo Pad 5 features a 12.1-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2800 x 1980 pixels. The display supports Dolby Vision and offers a variable refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
Under the hood, the tablet is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. It runs Android 16 with Oppo’s ColorOS 16 on top.
For imaging, the Oppo Pad 5 is equipped with an 8MP rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture and an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The device also features quad speakers for enhanced audio output.
The tablet is backed by a 10,050mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging.
