Triumph has introduced the updated Speed Twin 1200 and the Speed Twin 1200 RS in India for 2025. These models feature chassis enhancements, increased power, advanced technology, and refreshed styling. The Speed Twin 1200 is priced at Rs 12.75 lakh, while the RS variant comes at Rs 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom).

Design Updates

The 2025 Speed Twin 1200 sports a redesigned fuel tank with a more sculpted look and a new flip-up filler cap. The engine casings now have a black powder-coated finish, and the bike features compact silencers. A redesigned LED headlight with a distinctive DRL signature and a brushed aluminium bezel adds to the modern appeal. Additionally, the one-piece bench seat has been reshaped, and the bike now rides on new cast aluminium wheels.

Chassis & Suspension

The riding ergonomics have been revised with higher handlebars placed slightly forward for better control. The Marzocchi 43mm forks and twin rear shock absorbers with remote reservoirs and adjustable preload improve suspension performance. Braking is handled by radial Triumph-branded calipers paired with twin 320mm discs.

The RS version takes it up a notch with fully adjustable Marzocchi front forks, Öhlins twin rear shocks, and Brembo Stylema calipers for superior braking efficiency.

Performance & Engine

Both models are powered by the Bonneville 1200cc parallel-twin engine, now producing 103.5bhp and 112Nm of torque. A 6-speed gearbox, 270-degree firing order, and low-inertia crankshaft contribute to sharp throttle response and smooth power delivery.

Technology & Features

The Speed Twin 1200 is equipped with two riding modes—Road and Rain—to adjust engine response based on conditions. Both variants also get cornering ABS and traction control. The RS version adds a Sport mode for more aggressive throttle response and refined traction control settings.

Additionally, the RS is the first Bonneville model to feature Triumph Shift Assist, a bi-directional quickshifter. The bikes also come with a dual-display instrument cluster (LCD + TFT) offering turn-by-turn navigation, smartphone connectivity, and a USB-C charging port.
