Vivo has officially launched two of its most anticipated smartphones in India — the foldable Vivo X Fold 5 and the compact flagship Vivo X200 FE. With significant design upgrades and top-of-the-line specifications, both devices aim to attract premium smartphone buyers ahead of the festive season.
Vivo X Fold 5: Slimmer Foldable, Big on Power
Priced at Rs 1,49,999, the Vivo X Fold 5 is now available for pre-orders and will go on sale starting July 30. The device comes in a Titanium Grey finish and is offered in a single variant with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. As part of the launch offers, Vivo is giving an instant discount of Rs 15,000 on select bank cards, effectively bringing the price down to Rs 1,34,999. Buyers can also avail exchange bonuses and no-cost EMI options depending on the platform and bank partnerships.
Weighing just 217 grams, the X Fold 5 is remarkably slim, measuring only 4.3mm when unfolded. It features a large 8.03-inch 2K+ foldable OLED display with LTPO 8T technology, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 4500 nits of peak brightness. The outer display is a 6.53-inch OLED panel with similar specs, making the device ideal for productivity and media consumption.
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, the foldable comes with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, ensuring top-tier performance. The phone introduces an iPhone-style Shortcut Button for quick access to apps like the camera, torch, notes, and audio controls. On the software side, the X Fold 5 includes smart AI features like audio-to-text call conversion and an AI Meeting Assistant.
The camera setup is equally impressive, featuring a triple-lens system with a 50MP main camera using Sony’s IMX921 sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens with a Samsung JN1 sensor, and a 50MP telephoto camera by ZEISS offering 3x optical zoom. A large 6000mAh battery powers the device, promising long-lasting usage.
Vivo X200 FE: Compact Yet Powerful
Launched as a “compact flagship,” the Vivo X200 FE starts at Rs 54,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model, while the 16GB RAM + 512GB variant is priced at Rs 59,999. The phone will be available in three colour options — Amber Yellow, Luxe Grey and Frost Blue — and will go on sale from July 23 via Flipkart, Vivo India’s e-store, and major retail outlets.
Buyers can avail several launch benefits, including no-cost EMI options starting at Rs 3,055 per month for 18 months, up to 10% cashback on select bank cards, and an exchange bonus under Vivo’s V-Upgrade programme. Vivo is also offering a one-year extended warranty, 70% off on its V-Shield protection plan, and a pair of Vivo TWS 3e earbuds for Rs 1,499 under a bundle deal.
