A group art exhibition of paintings, and sculptures tittled “Master Stokes 2024” has commenced at Open Palm Court Art Gallery, India Habitat Centre. The exhibition, which began on January 2, 2024, is set to continue its artistic extravaganza until January 6, 2023.
Curated and organised by Kishore Labar, the exhibition promises a gathering of esteemed guests such as Shovna Narayan, Shobha Broota, Asit Kumar Patnaik, Naresh Kaporiya, Sushma Bhel, Jiten Hazarika, and Niren Sen Gupta.
“Art should be a reflection of truth, untouched by falsehoods,” said Kishore Labar, curator of ‘Master Strokes 2024’. “This exhibition invites everyone to experience authentic storytelling through each stroke and color on display”.
Labar said, “We’re showcasing the very best of our grandmasters, uniting talents from all corners of India. These pieces represent their unwavering dedication and the vibrancy of life captured in each artwork”.
He added, “Our aim is to challenge norms by presenting art that speaks to our collective struggles. ‘Master Strokes 2024’ seeks to illustrate how art serves as a potent narrative, an activist’s voice, and a profound aesthetic expression, going beyond the ordinary”.
Artists participating in ‘Master Strokes 2024’ include Aashima Mehrotra, Aman Sharma, Alphee Kumar, Bhavana Sagar, C.K. Bakshi, Dr. Suryasnata Mohanty, Deepika Bedi Puri, Deepak Makwana, Jatin Chaudhary, Kumud Grover, Prem Lata, Jyotsna Sharma, Mangae Ram Sharma, Manju Narain, Madhulika Jha, Mahinder Rai, Mirinmoy Barua, Mohini Narain, Navodit Mehra, Pooja K Gehani, Rachna Lodha, Raja Deori, Renu Jain, Shashi Lata, Tanuskha Singha, Shiv Raj, and Suneeta Mullick.
