Delhi on Thursday recorded a minimum temperature of 22.2 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season’s average, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The relative humidity was recorded at 87 per cent at 8.30 am and the maximum temperature is expected to remain around 35 degrees Celsius.
Data from the Central Pollution Control Board revealed that at 9 am, the city’s overall Air Quality Index (AQI) stood at 136.
For reference, an AQI of 0-50 is categorized as “good,” 51-100 as “satisfactory,” 101-200 as “moderate,” 201-300 as “poor,” 301-400 as “very poor,” and 401-500 as “severe.” (With inputs from PTI)
