Odissi Natya Sala is all set to host the 6th edition of Nritya Milan, a festival commemorating the diverse kaleidoscope of dance forms. Scheduled for December 21, 2023, at Stein Auditorium in the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, the event promises an enchanting spectacle commencing at 7 PM.
The upcoming Nritya Milan festival will be a testament to the artistic finesse and cultural richness embedded in India’s dance heritage. Presenting a melange of dance forms, this edition will showcase captivating performances by various artists and dance groups, offering a breathtaking experience to the audience.
The festival will embrace a tapestry of dance forms, featuring the traditional Odissi by Odissi Natya Sala, the graceful Kathak presented by Vidha Lal and her troupe, an amalgamation of Bharatnatyam, Kuchipudi, Kathakali and Mohiniyatam by Vishnupriya Natyalaya, and a fusion of Chhau and Kathak presented by Shreeswati.
Founded in 1999 by the illustrious Anita Babu, Odissi Natya Sala stands as a premier institution preserving the Guru-Sishya parampara while nurturing talent. NRITYA MILAN, with its inception in 2010, has evolved over the years, showcasing themes revolving around classical dance, social issues, and celebrating the Guru-Sishya tradition.
