This is where you can have chicken tikka in cheese sauce and wind up with a Dessert Thali or an aloe vera lemonade
Loud, colourful, festive and joyous, Dhansoo Cafe is more than a restaurant that offers food and beverages. It is more a state of mind with stories and nostalgia.
“At Dhansoo Cafe, we have an interesting mix of dishes that are heritage and have lost stories around them,” says Chef Ashish Singh, the Corporate Chef. “We wanted our diners to enter into a cool world of colourful, magical and eclectic energy. Hence created a complete package of good food, lovely music in eclectic setting, a cheerful, bright and happy place for everyone’s delight and smiles,” say the popular restauranteurs Vikrant and Sharad Batra, who have been running successful restaurant brands Café Delhi Heights and Nueva. They have now added Dhansoo to their portfolio.
Sophsiticated Decor
Delhi’s Sangam Courtyard, which once had a cinema hall of the same name, is home to a cafe that takes one to a cool world of colour, magic and eclectic energy. The mood of the restaurant is enhanced with a façade that welcomes the joyous seekers with Dhansoo written in different languages. Inspired by the new wave of minimalism, the offbeat and effortless décor lends to the cool atmosphere of the place.
The marvellous furniture with pop colours and geometrical patterns complements the classic walls and harmonious flooring, with tiles that add substance to the cafe. The space uses hues and textures with an indulgent use of blues, oranges and pinks with gold, grey and white. The design meanders across the floor, featuring a long and stylish bar’ that is sure to keep you rooted in this cold weather.
A partition between the sittings is beautifully extended with green planters adding a vibe of its own, matched well by natural light sparkling the cafe with its warmth.
