As they neared the Hanuman Mandir Flyover on Ring Road, a truck coming from behind struck their two-wheeler, critically injuring Piyush and Ankur, an official said.

The two men were taken to a hospital where they were declared dead, police said.

According to the official, the victims, both residents of Delhi’s Mehrauli, were not wearing helmets at the time of the accident.

The truck driver, identified as 38-year-old Surender Singh, was apprehended with the help of an auto driver who chased and handed him over to police, the official said.
