Artist Nishita Baderia will exhibit her creations in an upcoming exhibition titled “Euphoria” from March 1 at Open Palm Court Gallery, India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi. The exhibition will end on March 5.
Nishita Baderia, a seasoned architect hailing from Delhi, possesses over 13 years of expertise in architecture behind shared insights into her artistic process, saying, “Drawing inspiration from Indian monuments, modern international buildings, and the wonders of nature, my creations aim to transcend mere representation”. She elaborated, “Through abstract forms and intricate patterns, I offer a unique interpretation of my surroundings, reflecting not just what meets the eye but the essence of my perception”.
Describing her artworks, Baderia explained, “Adorned with repetitive lines, curves, and motifs derived from nature, my pieces exude a sense of tranquility and therapeutic charm.” She further added, “I also employ the technique of flower pounding to create subtle and exquisite abstract floral paintings”.
Speaking about the significance of the exhibition’s title, Baderia said, “‘Euphoria’ is a celebration of my lifelong love affair with art.” Reflecting on her journey, she shared, “Having honed my skills since childhood and winning numerous painting competitions along the way, I seamlessly blend my architectural expertise with my innate creative instincts”.
Baderia emphasized the diversity of her exploration, stating, “My artistic journey extends beyond traditional paintings to sculptural furniture and exclusive home decor pieces crafted with wood, inviting viewers to experience art in its most tactile form”.
