Viraya Eko, a pioneering art initiative founded by artist and curator Rohit J Kapoor, will present its latest group art show, “The Call of the Mirror,” at Travancore Palace, 10A Kasturba Gandhi Marg, New Delhi. The art exhibition will be previewed on August 10, 2024, and open to the public on August 11, 2024. The show will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on both days.
“The Call of the Mirror” will feature a diverse lineup of artists, each offering unique perspectives through their work.
Asha Thadani will showcase her photography that addresses important social issues such as caste, power hierarchies, child labour, and abuse.
Suvajit Mondal, a New Delhi-based ceramic artist, explores the relationship between nature and human intervention.
Maulik Oza, a self-taught ceramist, integrates ceramics into architectural and interior designs. Nitush and Aroosh, self-taught designers and artists, will present sculptural furniture and objects crafted from stainless steel.
